The new Sheldon office and showroom encapsulates the values and culture of Sheldon Interiors, how they work and the standard they provide to their clients. The new space accommodates 40% more staff while fitting into a 20% smaller space, by creating a dynamic work-in showroom combined with a number or activity-based work areas and meeting points. The office has full street exposure and needed to present well from the public eye while remaining functional and productive. Clever use of up lighting was used to create good levels of ambient light for the predominantly semi sub-terrain south facing space. The exposed ceiling also creates something for the eye to focus onto when relaxing from staring at a computer screen. Indoor plants are also used extensively to lift the office environment.
