Design + Construct

Cubic, the company appointed by the NSW Government to roll out the Opal Card system, engaged Sheldon to design and construct their new workplace. The move to a centralised address was seen positively by the staff thanks to an exciting design that represented their brand, supported their people and catered for their specific privacy and security needs.

Graphics and imagery were used in such a way as to be reminiscent of technology and moving people, keeping the concept relevant to the wider business. With offices in the US and the UK, a visiting company representative commented that the Australian office is the best that they have globally, loving how it represented their brand and philosophy, while really connecting the team.

With a tight time frame and complex electrical, data and technology requirements, Sheldon were able to quickly establish a workable program that addressed the specific objectives. This included a phased delivery process which was successfully managed by Sheldon, and all power and data requirements were quickly resolved through Sheldon’s in-house Electrical division.
