L4, Building F, Rhodes Corporate Park, Rhodes
Design + Construct
Pickles Auctions were relocating their office to a larger space and looking for a complete refresh of the existing, tired design that its staff had been used to. The move to Rhodes came with challenges, as the plan of the workspace was physically split into two wings and the team were eager that the design would maintain efficient working, with teams collaborating and interacting despite the limitations in the plan.
Sheldon’s clever design highlighted generous circulation spaces between workstations, creating a design continuity and unity over the almost two thousand square metre space. Additional collaboration pockets with district views to both the city and Rhodes’ waterside mall had been created with sweeping curved hot desks, custom made by Sheldon’s manufacturing team.
Strong communication between both teams throughout the project ensured project success. The feedback from Pickles has been fantastic, with an increase in staff productivity. The project team who worked on creating the new office fitout with Sheldon have internally been labeled as heroes due to the success of the project, of which we are thrilled.
