Committed to fairness, transparency and professionalism, Thinktank was established to make a genuine difference in commercial property finance. What defines them sits within the Thinktank name: Always thinking and pursuing new ways to help.

Back in 2017, Sheldon designed and built a new office for Thinktank in North Sydney that excited its staff and clients and reflected a vibrant and inspiring personality in the workplace environment. Upon internal business success and rapid growth, Sheldon was called upon again to create another state of the art workplace that further enhanced the Thinktank brand and culture in a much larger space with stunning views at 101 Miller Street.

Sheldon was designated to provide a cutting edge design that was future-proof and able to facilitate internal growth. Cool tones of grey and blue complimented with earthy tones and greenery were implemented to provide an inviting coastal but professional feel into the spaces, aligning with the brand. With minimal heavy built forms, open work with collaboration spaces and using a light and airy colour palette a flexible layout plan was created that allowed for an uplifting, fresh environment with wide access to views, supporting wellness and workplace happiness.

Sheldon’s own manufacturing division responded to our internal design team’s vision and provided beautifully crafted detailed joinery, modern ergonomic workstations including sit-to-stand, and general furniture for meeting, breakout and collaboration areas. This and Sheldon’s other internal divisions including partitioning and electrical/technology meant that the entire project was able to be delivered at a competitive rate and efficient timeline while providing a very sophisticated high-end finish.

The positive feedback from the Thinktank team, visitors and property experts alike has been exceptional as they see what can be achieved through the successful collaboration of an open-minded, decisive client with a clever, creative and highly experienced design and construct team, that is Sheldon.

Having worked with Sheldon in our previous tenancy, we had no hesitation in turning to you once again which, due to our growth demands, unfortunately did involve a relatively short turn around time from design to delivery. At every critical point, the professionalism and the experience that your team brought to bear was entirely evident and gave us great reassurance. Always available, responsive, proactive and thoughtfully synchronised with what we were looking to achieve with colour, light, space, form and functionality. The end result is even beyond our own expectations.
