About the Role:
Become our newest team member as our Delivery Driver for our manufacturing facilities on the Central Coast.
No day will be the same, commencing from our factory at Somersby and predominantly see you visiting Sydney in our trucks with goods for installation. On occasion there maybe a requirement to also service regional areas.
The role could also be suited to those with furniture removalist experience.
During our 30 years of operation, Sheldon has earnt an enviable reputation of being Sydney’s leading Design and Construct company specialising in workplace fitouts. A team over 75 employees with our Head office in the Sydney CBD and manufacturing facility on the Central Coast.

Key Responsibilities:
Packaging of items ready for dispatch
Load Truck according to manifest
Unload Truck according to manifest
Other deliveries and pickup of components as required
Onsite Rubbish removal, assist with the demobilisation of our install team
Operation and Maintenance of Truck
You will have to be able to:
Able to interpret a Furniture Plan
Place Furniture in position according to floorplan
Assist with installation of Loose Furniture
Restocking of components sent back from site
Reporting of any damaged product in transit
Reporting of any incidents
Assist in the factory as required during downtime
Manage the waste bins at factory
Hours of Work:
As we service our installation team, you will have to have some flexibility with your start time, however we endeavour to keep this to a standard shift - 6am to 2.30pm.
Essential for the Role:Minimum of MR License
Clear driving history
Forklift licence
Able to use manual lifting aids
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Multitasking with excellent time management skills
Team player
Able to follow instructions
Physically fit for manual labour tasks.

About the Role:
Join a dynamic and motivated Partitioning team with a fantastic Company culture and an attractive remuneration package. With the convenience of working in and around Sydney CBD and metro areas, have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects primarily in high rise buildings. You will be responsible for plasterboard operations on a day-to-day basis and ensuring a project comes in on time. Additional responsibility includes WHS compliance on all sites and assisting in general hands on plasterboard role requirements. The Sheldon Plasterboard Team work in conjunction with the broader Project Team, more commonly, Sheldon Site Managers to ensure smooth delivery of projects to meet our clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
General
Meeting programmed dates for all Construction and Defect rectification stages of projects.
Setting out from plans
Attend tool box talks
Assist Plasterboard Foreman in analysing buildability issues in respect of design development and providing input.
Review project programs
Participate in PCG meetings as required & liaise regularly with Site Managers
General duties/ labor tasks assigned by Plasterboard Manager & Plasterboard Foreman
Flexible working hours will be required from time to time for early access and out of normal business hours site activity.
About you:
You will have 5+ years experience in a similar role and have a clear and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of plasterboard construction including ceilings, bulkheads, doors and glass partitions.
Personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness, alongside excellent communications skills, are qualities we look for in the role. We’re looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, ability to problem solve and perform to timelines as well as the ability to critically review project drawings for buildability of the documented design.
To be successful in this role you will need:
General Construction Certificate (White Card)
First Aid Certificate
Commercial fitout experience in steel studs and Grid and plasterboard ceilings
Trade Certificate in Plastering or Shop Fitting.
