A workplace that aligns with culture and supports growth.
ESV Accounting and Financial Services, a well-established firm, was in need of a new office space that aligned with their culture and supported their growth. Having previously collaborated with Sheldon on a successful fitout, they once again turned to Sheldon to be their design and construction partner for their new location in the adapted heritage site at 68 York Street in Sydney CBD.
Following multiple site reviews, Sheldon conducted a detailed workplace strategy to reanalyse ESV’s core values, culture and new brand. Our in-house design team used this insight to create an innovative plan and concept design that not only encapsulated ESV’s ethos but also ensured adaptability and future-proofing.
The heritage building site had undergone redevelopment, blending historical elements with modern additions. It featured an atrium with a glass roof, glass lifts, and a furnished mezzanine-level common area. The building boasted A-grade classification and a 5.5-star NABERS rating, equipped with passive and active chilled-beam air conditioning and a destination control system for lifts.
Sheldon seamlessly integrated ESV’s brand concept into the space, celebrating their identity and achievements as a business. This integration added a personalised touch to the overall design. Sheldon’s in-house manufacturing facility was able to provide high end joinery and furniture which incorporated branding elements to further reflect their innovative brand.
Result
The result of this collaborative effort was a vibrant, sophisticated, and joyful workplace that fostered strong engagement and connectivity among ESV staff and clients. The new office space supported individual and business growth by providing an environment equipped with the necessary tools and facilities, aligning with the ESV way.
