NAIDOC Week 2024: Actions Towards Healing Country
This NAIDOC Week 2024, we are raising awareness to some of the ways in which we can collectively work towards healing Country, and change Australian culture.
“Australia hasn’t started on the journey of healing Country yet; our Country and younger generations are desperate for us to begin,” says Sheldon’s cultural advisor and CEO of CoDesign + Sheldon Richard Swain.
All Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians are custodians of the land we live on; we all have responsibility to take actions towards healing Country and reversing centuries of damage on our environment.
We’ve compiled a list of some simple ways you can take action, listen deeply and think about our everyday impact on the environment.
