Overview and challenge.
After completing the fitout of their 77 King Street office, Instructure approached Sheldon to create an engaging workplace in the scenic location of 161 Sussex Street in Sydney. Like the software they provide for their clients, Instructure desired a functional, seamless office space, a space that encouraged conversation, collaboration and productivity.
Our solution.
With careful consideration of employee wellbeing and performance, Sheldon created a space that integrates the Instructure brand and company history. The aesthetic was deliberately kept minimalistic to enable the city views to shine.
In addition to the positive impact this had on the wellbeing of the Instructure team, it provides them and their clients with a psychological connection to Sydney.
The space is brightened up with pops of colour, and the different office zones have been organically placed so as to encourage spontaneous collaboration. Curved workstations were created by Sheldon’s manufacturing facility to soften the space, the features accumulating in a light filled and positive working environment.
Their result.
Fine attention to detail and clear communication across teams enabled Sheldon to turn the successful project around in an incredibly short construct period of six weeks. The result is colourful and practical spaces that encourages employee collaboration and interaction.
