A Lasting Partnership in Innovative Workplace Design
Sheldon’s longstanding partnership with a return client has resulted in the successful delivery of multiple high-quality workspaces, including the two newly constructed speculative suites on Level 3 at 11 Khartoum Road.
Designed with flexibility in mind, these suites feature a removable intertenancy wall, allowing them to function as separate offices or merge into a single, cohesive space. This adaptive design enhances leasing potential, catering to a range of tenant needs while maintaining a seamless aesthetic. Extensive glazing maximises natural light throughout the long, narrow layouts, creating a bright and inviting entry areas, while a carefully curated material palette of timber, cream, and brown tones adds warmth and sophistication to both suites.
Maximising Impact Through Sustainable Design
Sheldon’s commitment to sustainable design was a driving force behind the Level 3 fit-out, ensuring environmental responsibility without sacrificing quality. By reusing approximately 75% of the supplied base building carpet tiles and repurposing remaining materials for other projects, the team minimised waste while maintaining premium finishes. Additionally, exposed ceilings were retained and treated with a high-quality spray application, reducing the need for excess materials. Unique design touches, such as First Nations-inspired graphics and feature paint, were incorporated by Sheldon’s in-house partitioning team to add a distinctive aesthetic.
