Vibrant and flexible suites in the centre of Melbourne.

Tasked with transforming a full floor office into five individual speculative suites in order to maximise space and accommodate the changing needs of modern workplaces. Sheldon was selected on their proven ability to delivery innovative and flexible speculative fitouts for LaSalle, earning high praise for their design direction and track record of success.

Solution

Inspired by Melbourne’s vibrancy, each of the five suites has a distinct identity whilst all adhering to future ways of working and adaptable workpoints.

Project management was able to successfully coordinate the interstate project through collaboration between internal project management, design, and manufacturing divisions, as well as external contractors. Sheldon was also able to weather inflationary pressures on the construction industry during the time frame of the project (as the budget was set 6 months prior to commencement of project) through utilisation of internal trades, including Sheldon’s joinery manufacturing division.

Result

With split level speculative suites unavailable at 380 Docklands previously, Sheldon was able to deliver all five workplaces on time and in budget. The workplaces are flexible, vibrant, and provide adaptability for the future of work in Melbourne’s central business district.
