A vast warehouse and adjoining office in Western Sydney for a global shipping logistics company.
Savino Del Bene is an Italian shipping and logistics company with global operations, including in Australia. Their decision to relocate their warehouse and office to a large new industrial site in Western Sydney’s Arndell Park meant that they also required a new and improved office for their Sydney team.
Putting socialisation and collaboration at the heart of the workplace.
Savino Del Bene’s new workplace is an office space connected to the warehouse, with a double staircase opening up to both sides of the office on the first floor. A large open kitchen and breakout area is the heart of the space, with multiple seating options for socialisation and collaboration. A palette of muted beige alongside the company’s blue is combined with stripes in the soft furnishings. The workstations sit around the edges of the building, with a number of smaller meeting rooms provided to suit the needs of Savino Del Bene’s operations and team members.
Sheldon’s team designed a large boardroom to accommodate for the team’s needs, with a curved internal wall and optimal natural light through floor to ceiling windows.
Meeting future workplace demands.
This new workspace for Savino Del Bene demonstrates how warehouse office sites can meet all the demands of contemporary workplaces through their design. The functionality and style of this workplace is testament to the efficient and innovative collaboration of Sheldon’s internal divisions.
