Company merger leads to future proofed new office.
The acquisition of cloud solution experts Rhipe by technology architects Crayon in 2021 presented an opportunity to bring both employee groups together under the one office.
Solution
Having previously worked with Sheldon, Crayon’s new workplace successfully facilitates this merger through enhancing efficiency and culture - effectively ensured through Sheldon’s detailed workplace assessment involving all key stakeholders.
The design is contemporary, light filled and embraces practical and functional design solutions, while reflecting a cost-effective commitment to sustainability and innovation. Sheldon’s designers chose earthy tones and sleek timber furniture from Sheldon’s joinery division, to ensure the office not only provides function but looks great too.
Result
The key design appeal of Crayon’s new office is its vast variety of collaboration spaces. These spaces provide ample opportunity for teams to communicate, complementing an open plan flow of workstations and break areas that take advantage of harbour views.
These features ensure that Crayon can facilitate a multitude of participation styles, ensuring a truly ‘future proof’ work environment.
