Canberra workplace with a strong integration of Indigenous art.

WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services consulting firms, sought a modern and functional workplace to accommodate the company’s growing requirements. As their original space was not large enough, WSP needed to relocate to another floor at 12 Marcus Clarke St, a move that required an extensive refurbishment.

Solution

The result is a space that functions well for WSP and aligns strongly with their brand. The open plan office provides a diverse assortment of workstations, meeting spaces, and a generous kitchen/break area.

A highlight of the refurbishment is the Indigenous wall art commissioned from local Indigenous artists, incorporated into wall murals in both the reception and kitchen spaces.

Through regular travel to site to carry out weekly subcontractor coordination meetings, as well as providing a site based Site Manager from the Sydney office, Sheldon ensured compliance and coordination with requirements, resulting in a smooth fit out from start to finish.

Result

WSP’s Canberra division continues to expand and grow. The success of this project has opened a window for Sheldon to complete future projects in Canberra, providing fitouts for the public and private sectors in the nation’s capital.
